Double up on moisture

Even if the rest of your face is in very good condition, chances are that the occasional (or constant) curse of under-eye bags has not escaped you. This is because, says Dr. Rivera, they are part of our genetic heritage, and practically everything-stress, soy sauce, allergies, all-nights-manages bring them into a tizzy. This is the red carpet trick that helps quickly cheat dry skin, says Daniel Martin, a makeup artist. “The emollients in the oil break down the pigments in the foundation creating a smoother coverage and dewy finish.” His how-to: Mix a drop of face oil with one liquid foundation pump and use a damp sponge or a flat-top foundation brush to tap the mixture on. Let it stay for a few minutes with a touch of translucent powder before dusting the region around your nose and T-zone.
